African Drumming Workshops for Schools & Community Groups

HARTBEATS run West African drumming and djembe workshops for schools and community groups such as Scouts and Guides, as well as for various clubs and societies. Our classes are run across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, London, across the South of England and beyond.
Students learn the percussion techniques, songs and African rhythms by gradually building their knowledge and then putting them together into a structured piece of music, sometimes culminating in a grand finale performance.
We can provide an introductory one-off workshop or a course of lessons. All ages and abilities are catered for, with all instruments provided of a suitable quality and authentically sourced. Please get in touch for more details.
